TCANC is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, non-political, non-religious organization with the primary purpose of fostering an understanding of the Tamil language, arts and culture. TCANC organizes various cultural and social activities to showcase Indian heritage and Tamil culture. Annual events include Chithirai Thirunaal, Summer Picnic, India Independence Day, Tamizh Maalai, Pongal and special events by visiting artists from India.
